While I understand contrast, edge quality, color, texture, etc., the way you express HOW they are used by an artist to create a WOW factor is new for me and I so appreciate this insight. I love the idea of going to a museum and slowly looking around to see which painting grabs our attention first and then analyzing it to see why. I love the analysis of each of the above paintings to see how the artist employed the different aspects of what makes a great painting really great. I'm looking forward to future blogs!
