FABULOUS post! You have given me a wonderful idea for my classes. By studying within other paintings what attracts you to them, you learn, by painting in your own unique way, how to capture that feeling that draws you to the work. It is so true. We can all learn those elements and principles of design, but it is HOW we as individual artists use these tools that creates our own unique work!
