Edie, thank you. I agree. it's true for any creative pursuit and I often think there are so many parallels between the creative life of writers and artists. One of my favorite inspirational books is Ann Patchett's "The Story of a Happy Marriage" which is actually about creativity and her development as a writer--which I found totally applicable to my own story as an artist.
