Peter, so interesting to flip the painting again--I too am always tempted to look for horizons and foregrounds in abstracts. In fact, I deliberately went vertical here in order to counteract that tendency since I am trying to really be abstract and not slip back into a landscape and I know my tendencies...I wanted to eliminate the possibility of finding space and perspective here. But I also think a good composition can usually work in several directions! Thanks for the idea!
